Whilst we might have started out as a one man-one digger team, over the years our operation has expanded.. We now offer crushing and screening services, land remediation, site clearance, bulk earthworks, and civil engineering solutions to our clients across Wales and the South West.
Weighing a massive 72 tonnes, our i140RS jaw crusher certainly can’t be missed on site. Used for demolition, recycling, mining, and quarrying, the Terex Finlay i140RS produces a consistent product whilst pre-screening to remove fine dirt and to bypass materials.
The machine comes with Terex Finlay’s T-Link telematics system which allows us to track the machines fuel economy, keeping track of consumption, idle time, and more.
One of the i140’s most popular features is the on-board quick detach, single-deck screen. This means that oversize material can be quickly recirculated without needing to reload the machine.
We like to keep things stocked up here at GR Plant so we’re ready for any job when they need us. In addition to our wide range of crushers and screeners we’ve got a variety of mini diggers to work on those smaller sites with restricted access.
The Takeuchi TB 325R is our smallest machine weighing just two and a half tonnes. With a short tail-swing, this compact excavator is ideal for urban environments with limited space. With just 7cm overhang at 90 degrees to track, the TB 325R offers an extremely stable platform for excavating in the most difficult of environments.
It’s trailer towable, has smooth hydraulics and a powerful machine performance. What’s not to love?
With over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, we pride ourselves on a consistent, quality service. Whilst the majority of our projects are located within Wales and the South West, over the years our expertise has taken us all over the world to Japan, Korea, Spain, France, Sweden and more!
When you think of heavy machines, you probably head straight to the 100 tonne dump trucks you see on TV. But mini diggers are also a huge asset to any plant hire and construction firm
At the famous Lee Valley Velopark in London’s Olympic Queen Elizabeth Park, we designed and built 8km of mountain bike trails using only mini diggers ranging from 1.5 to 3 tonnes. As the city itself is known for its congestion and unsafe road conditions, we wanted to create the perfect alternative for those who enjoy riding but want to escape the hassle of inner-city London.
Whilst our mini diggers excel at creating engineered landscapes and thrive in tight spaces, there’s nothing quite like operating [and looking at] a big bit of kit.
Weighing a massive 45 tonnes, our Terex Finlay C-1540RS cone crusher…..
Crushers aren’t the only big machines around here. We’ve got a couple of 50 tonne Kobelco SK500 excavators that are surprisingly nimble despite their size. With the ability to swing, lift, and move material simultaneously, the excavator is perfect for getting the job done. Our Terex Finlay J1170 and J1175 Jaw Crushers are used for demolition and recycling applications. Their hydrostatically-driven single toggle jaw chamber provide a high capacity with large reduction ratios.
Whether it’s an excavator, material handler, crusher or screener you’re after, we’ve got the machine for the job.
